You’ve heard about it every day. But you don’t hear it as much from business owners. It’s called job dissatisfaction.
In June of 2014, Forbes.com posted an article stating that over 50% of Americans are dissatisfied with their jobs. Even as the economy bounced back, work equipment got better than ever, and safety standards improved, most Americans would prefer to be working somewhere else. And yet you hardly ever hear a business owner complaining. Sure, you might hear the standard grousing once in a while about the owner being Chief Cook and Bottle Washer, but for the most part, business owners feel in control of their lives and they’re going in a direction of their own choosing.
If you’re like me, and you’re aware that owning a business can be a huge headache, you’re probably not champing at the bit to open your own business. The solution? Start an Online Business.
Today’s technology lets us do things never imagined before in the history of the human race. I can call a friend in Japan and hear her just as clearly as if she were right up the street. I can Skype a business associate in Turkey and not only get to speak with him, but see him, too.
Here’s something to think about when you start a business, though. Does your business allow you to earn residual income, or does your income stop every time you take a day off? Do you have to work as hard or harder in your business as everybody else? Do you think you’d have to juggle inventory, deal with ego problems among the staff, or take out the trash when the janitor calls in sick? These are very real problems facing business owners, but thanks to technology, you can sidestep all these potential problems of business ownership.
When you start an online business, you can choose one that doesn’t involve stocking inventory, building a huge office staff that can get into fights, or even renting a building that you have to maintain. That’s what I did.
When I first became aware of MTTB and MOBE, I was looking for a way to make money online because I was one of those 52% who are unhappy with their jobs. I realized that it was in my better interest to have a second source of income that came WITHOUT the headaches involved in a 9-to-5. Yet, I didn’t want to open a brick-and-mortar business and just get a new set of headaches. So I selected MOBE, a hugely successful business that allows me to focus on just a few simple skills that I already have, and make money almost on autopilot.
In fact, I even learned some new skills that have blown my mind, as they’re all technology related. And it’s proven to be a very fun ride! But does the business keep working even if I get sick? You bet it does.
